Helping people find the information they need
Aimed at women of all ages, BREVAGen is a new test that looks at a person's DNA for clues they may develop breast cancer. To accompany the launch, the test's manufacturers needed a website.
The aim of the site was to explain the benefits of the test in a clear, neutral language. It was also to help women understand more about the disease without drowning them in scientific jargon. To that end, we added links to other prominent sources of information on breast cancer. We also made sure there was a link on each page to a risk calculator – a tool that allows women quickly and easily to start assessing their own risk.
In keeping with all breast cancer related material, we used pink as the primary colour.
System used
- ASP was used to allow the integration of a third party risk calculator.
